Differences between Eames various versions

1. IMUS lounge chair CKTY307S, The most basic version, which is also the most cost-effective version, is the best-selling version in our factory, standard size (31 inches in height), top-grain leather.
2. Upgraded leather version: IMUS Lounge Chair Aniline Leather CKTY319, adding “Aniline Leather” as a modifier to the basic model’s title. The leather is Full-grain Aniline leather.
3. Height upgrade only: Taller Version IMUS Lounge Chair Sim-PB05, adding the modifier “Taller Version” to the product title. Leather remains top-grain leather. Height is 33.5 inches.
4. Both height and width upgraded: Extra Large IMUS Lounge Chair Palisander & Black CKTY321, with a height of 35 inches and increased width by 2 inches. The Extra Large version is the largest in size among all versions. The leather is top grain leather.
5. Upgraded to Aniline leather based on the Extra Large version: Extra Large IMUS Lounge Chair Aniline Full-grain Leather CKTY329. The leather is Full-grain Aniline leather.
6. A+ Taller Ultra Premium Version IMUS lounge chair YKPB02, the Ultra Premium Version with the highest configuration. It has a height of 35 inches and features Aniline Full-grain Leather, Both Side Veneer Finish, including clips and zippers to open the seat cushion and remove the fillings inside. This version also uses imported Russian birchwood, which is more durable, thinner, and has clearer wood grain with fewer knots.

All IMUS Lounge Chair products are named following the rules mentioned above. Please note that only the Ultra Premium Version comes with steel clamps and double-sided veneer compressed plywood, as well as cushion zipper. Other versions do not include these features. For products with leather upgraded to aniline leather, the cushion filling follows the same standards as the Ultra Premium Version, utilizing higher density and softer open-cell foam. This provides better support and prevents deformation. The Ultra Premium Version utilizes birch wood sourced from the Russian Siberian Plateau as the raw material for crafting compressed veneer, while other versions use eucalyptus wood from the Southeast Asian warm tropical regions. Birch wood is more robust, has a higher load-bearing capacity, fewer knots, is thinner, and more aesthetically pleasing. However, the overall weight-bearing capacity of the Imus lounge chair remains relatively consistent across all versions.

Tip: If you have a larger body size and find the chair’s width to be a bit narrow, you can swap the armrests from left to right. This will create an additional space of about four inches, increasing the width to 24 inches.
